The Lino Cutting Social is a monthly creative meet-up led by Oxford-based artists Charlotte Hanley and Joanna Clay, designed to introduce people to the playful world of lino printing in a relaxed, supportive setting. The social is beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels - no previous experience needed!
During the session, you’ll learn the basics of carving, inking and printing, and will have time to create your own unique lino-printed design to take home. The focus is on enjoying the process, trying something new and connecting with others who also have a love of making.
Each workshop lasts two hours, with all material costs included in the ticket price. Just bring yourself and any ideas you’d like to explore.
Materials include:
- Lino blocks
- Carving tools
- Inks & rollers
- Printing paper
