Together We Make was founded in 2024 by fellow artists and best friends Joanna Clay and Charlotte Hanley, who share a goal for making creativity accessible to everyone. As two practicing artists, we created Together We Make from a shared love of the arts and a desire to build an inclusive, welcoming space where creativity can grow and be shared.
We believe in the power of art to build community and confidence. Our work focuses on nurturing creatives by providing diverse, community-driven spaces and opportunities across Oxford, London & Nottingham.
We run monthly, beginner-friendly, creative socials that are led by a rotating group of artists and cover a wide range of mediums, including pottery, printmaking, painting, urban sketching, embroidery and more. Each session is designed to be welcoming, relaxed and open to all skill levels - a chance to experiment, learn and meet like-minded makers.
Looking ahead, Together We Make is expanding its programme to include creative pop-ups, collaborative projects and curated exhibitions. These events will open up new opportunities for emerging artists and make space for creative activity across our locations.
